この度、皆様にお知らせしなくてはならない事がございます。

弊社は1997年の創業以来、皆様にご愛顧頂いて参りましたが、事情により来る2023年6月30日を持ちまして業務を終了する運びとなりました。

1997年10月に私、小倉が創業させて頂きましたワシン・エアも今年で26年目を迎えました。26年間、世界規模で沢山の試練がございました。近年最大の試練がコロナです。何とかこのコロナを乗り切り30周年を迎えるべく頑張っておりました。

しかし、昨年の8月頃、余りにも咳が続くので病院へ行きました。レントゲン検査の結果、肺に影があるという事で精密検査を致しましたところ、肺に癌があるという事がわかりました。内臓から脳まで既に転移もしており、ステージ4と診断されました。既に転移しているので手術は出来ず、キモセラピーを行うしかない状態でした。たばこも２０年以上前に辞めて、今まで病気などしたことがない私ですので、まさに青天の霹靂でした。しかし、時間がありませんので、すぐにキモセラピーを開始しました。キモを開始すると副作用があると懸念されていたのですが、お陰様で私の場合、大きな副作用もなく、まだ少ないフライトのお客様、ハンディマンのお客様を何とかこなしていました。

年が明けて第一回目のキモセラピーが終わり、数週間キモの効き目が落ち着くのを待って再検査に挑みました。脳への転移は放射線治療で全てなくなり、メインの肺の癌も小さくなり体が楽になったのですが、内臓への転移はそのままで、小さくなっていなかったようです。やはり、仕事をしていたストレスが原因で小さくならなかったようです。結果、余命宣告を受けてしまいましたので、一旦、治療に専念する決意を固めました。次のキモがどれくらい効いてくれるのか分かりませんが挑戦してみます。

この様な事情により、このままオペレーションを続けていくのが難しくなりました。誠に残念であります。

今までお世話になった皆様には長年に渡るご厚情に心から感謝申し上げますと共に、突然の廃業でご迷惑をお掛けします事を深くお詫び申し上げる次第でございます。

略儀ではございますが、まずは書中を持ちまして廃業のお詫びとご挨拶を申し上げます。

皆様の今後のご健勝とご発展を心よりお祈り申し上げます。

Dear Sir or Madame:  

I hope everything is going well with you.

As President of Washing Air, Inc., I, Masahiro Ogura, have something to inform you today.  

Since our company was established in 1997, we have received your patronage, but due to circumstances, we decided to end our business on June 30, 2023.  

This year marks the 26th anniversary of Washin Air, which I, Ogura, founded in October 1997.

For 26 years, there have been many tribulations and trials on a global scale. The biggest challenge in recent years was COVID-19. I have managed to get through the corona pandemic by doing my best to welcome the 30th anniversary of our company.  

However, having long-continued coughing around last August, I checked up at the hospital. As a result of the X-ray examination, they found a shadow in the lungs, and it turned out to be cancer after a detailed examination. It had metastasized from my internal organs to my brain and was diagnosed as stage 4. Since it had already metastasized around the body, surgery was not possible, and I had no choice but to undergo chemotherapy. I quit smoking more than 20 years ago and have never been sick, so it was just a bolt from the blue. But in the time-pressured situation, I started chemotherapy right away. I was worried that starting chemo would cause side effects, but in my case, there were no significant adverse effects, and I was able to work for a small number of flight and handyman customers.  

After the beginning of the new year, the first chemotherapy was over, and I waited a few weeks for the chemo effect to subside before taking on the challenge of retesting. Radiation therapy completely eliminated the metastasis to the brain, primary cancer in the lung was reduced in size, and I felt more comfortable. However, metastatic cancer in other organs didn’t shrink. After all, it seems that the stress of continuing work prevented it from improving. As a result, I was told that I did not have long to live, so I decided to devote myself to treatment. I don't know how much the next chemo will work, but I'll try it.  

Due to this situation, it has become difficult to continue our business operation as it is. I am very sorry about that.  

We want to express our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has been indebted to us over the years, and we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused by the sudden closure of our business.

I would like to express my sincere apologies and inform the business closure.
