Fly the Hawaiian sky on the plane you pilot!

Flight Experience Course Process

After a simple briefing with a video prior to boarding, your once in a lifetime experience will start! With the instructor seated right next to you, you will take-off, level out, and land. Upon returning to base, you will receive a certificate and an original flight logbook autographed by your instructor!

Enter the Runway, and Prepare for Takeoff

It’s just like driving a car to the runway. When you take your position on the Honolulu International Airport runway, place your hands on the control stick and throttle. When the flight instructor tells you to do so, slowly nudge the throttle forward. The plane will increase speed with a deafening roar.

Pull the Controls and Takeoff

As the plane goes down the runway, slowly pull back on the controls at 60 knots when the instructor gives you the signal. The plane lifts off surprisingly easily. This is the moment you will feel the excitement that you are in control of the plane!

From climbing to cruising altitiude

When the altimeter points to 1:30, you are at 1500 feet. Push the controls forward slowly and align the dashboard with the horizon to attain cruising altitude. If the horizon drops below the dashboard, you are climbing, and if it rises, you are descending.

Push forward on controls and land

All the runways are numbered. The flight instructor will communicate with the control tower via radio to get clearance for a certain runway. When you see your assigned runway, slowly push forward on your controls to start your descent. The instructor will guide you through the process. Great job!
